We teach people how to mix vinyl.
We also run events where we select the best students to play
once you have reached a certain standard.
What I intend to teach you, well , thats really up to you!
what do you want to learn? , Can you beatmatch already?,
Do you know what a crossfader is?
All these things we can work out on the first night and decide what stage you are at.
What you must have? Records? No...you can use mine!
headphones? No....you can use mine......
but you will have to purchase these things soon.
If you have these items please bring them.
I intend to focus on Funky House / Harder House, but if you want to learn Drum N BAss, Even RnB, I can help you!
I will also pass on in-valuable information about the DJ world, and , if you prove yourself good enough, there are DJ spots available to you in our new DJ agency if you shine like a star and our own graduation party where everyone gets to DJ.
We are not like other DJ skools, we dont take 100s of pounds from you and then leave you.
Once you join TheDJSkool, you are joining a family.
A collective of really cool, friendly people who just want to have fun, and if it turns out you are a pretty good DJ? We help you produce a demo, then we book you for our events and give advice in this fickle and sometimes very tough industry.
We've hosted events in some of Londons top venues (The Fridge, Turnmills (RIP), MOS, The O2, plus many many others, and we are now sending our DJs overseas.
We've moved around a fair bit from venue to venue, but now,

We welcome DJs of ALL abilities, from complete beginners who have NEVER mixed b4 who just want to see if they can do it,
to pro full time DJs who just want to touch up on their skills or help out and just hang out on this industry night.
The most important thing is WE DONT DO CDs
We ONLY teach vinyl mixing. (and I don't mean serato or traktor)
There is an exception to every rule...
If you are producing music, or you are just a really nice person
we will of course entertain you, and welcome you.
We have support from some TOP DJs Including ROB BLAKE, BRANDON BLOCK & Alex P, HuckleBerry Finn to name a few...
